You can't fake it anymore.

The minute you wake up you begin the countdown to when you’ll be back in bed. You dread the day ahead of you and have no patience for small talk anymore.

You feel like you’re in a fog, your body hurts all over and you’re in slow motion as you make it through another day.

It feels like there’s a huge wall between you and the rest of the world. The loneliness feels unbearable but you’ve got no energy to connect with people and they don’t understand what you’re going through anyway.

All you want is to be at home with the blankets over your head.

You’re constantly on edge; you try to push down the rage but any little thing sets you off. Even everyday tasks are draining so the thought of putting on a bra seems like a lot of work.

Nothing excites you anymore; you want to set goals and move forward but you feel uninspired.

You constantly compare yourself to other people and feel like you’ll never measure up since there’s a long list of reasons why you’re not good enough.

The anxiety, grief, sadness and anger isn’t something you can just get over.

The depression doesn’t have to keep you stuck.

You want to feel alive again so that you can be open to life’s experiences.

You want to gain self awareness so that you know how to care for yourself physically, mentally and emotionally.

You’re looking to create a life filled with excitement, possibilities and deeper connections.

A life where you use your creativity to heal from your experiences with compassion and understanding.

Imagine you have patience for yourself and others; you have energy to form deep connections and intimate relationships so that it’s safe for other people to see the real you.

You’re ready to feel a sense of peace and security in yourself as you take on life’s challenges and set out to accomplish your goals.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

I believe in the union of holistic and scientific practices so that I can address your needs as a whole person since depression affects all parts of you.

Through a combination of mindfulness, somatic exercises, talk therapy and yogic philosophy you’ll gain self-awareness so that you feel empowered and confident in your ability to heal, grow and thrive.

I’ll help you learn how to manage the symptoms of depression so that you’ll have the clarity to change negative self-talk, challenge your personal beliefs and heal from the painful experiences that lead you to this place in your life.

We’ll work together to break down societal norms and messages as well as cultural expectations that contribute to your feelings of depression so that you’ll gain insight as an individual and as part of the collective world around you.

Depression doesn’t have to be a life sentence. Let’s get your life back.

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

― Carl Jung
